Delete an Authentication Provider in SharePoint 2010

– From Central Administration
– Click on Application Management – Manage Web Application
– Select the Web Application where the extended website resides
– Click on Delete and select Remove SharePoint from IIS Web Site
– Select the IIS Web Site that you want to delete
– Make sure you click on ‘Yes’ under Delete IIS Web Sites
– Click Ok
